Wish #35: To Appreciate the Life
We've Been Given
Let us imagine
That life is not measured with ticking clocks
Or sands slipping through glass
But instead golden cobblestones
Curving a sweet path
Through a rosy child's fairy-tale--
And that "once upon a time"
Is absolute truth
For this is our time
And we are here only once.
