The little Pennsylvania series really is a lot "happier" than some of the gritty stuff you were doing here (which I also loved, for a different set of reasons). The Twist and Shake piece really reminds me of some of the little sections of roads I have driven on in Pennsylvania, which I mostly past by without much notice. The field stone foundation, the soft yellow clapboard siding, and the nearly turquoise little shop seem almost like something I have seen there.
