Nine Wishes
How the Project is Changing Lives

The art and poetry you did for my wish was so inspired. At the time I submitted that wish, I could not have known what life was about to bring me. I went through a very dark time but through it I did find my roses in the dark. Your art and words mean even more to me today than they did when you first wrote them. A friend of mind firmly believes that artists and poets are empaths and more in tune to the cosmos than the average person. I tend to agree.

Thank you so much. I will treasure it forever.

Cory, Cory, Cory!!!! I love my wish!!!!!!!!!! It is breathtakingly beautiful! It was so moving, it made me cry.... You are unbelievable........ If I am well enough, I would love to see the completed project in person some day! I plan on putting it in my meditation room...It will always hold a special place in my heart!

I got the paintings today!!!!!!!! They are BEAUTIFUL!! Even prettier in person! When I touched them I got such wonderful energy from them!!!I love how you can look at them and see so many different images.. I almost see a white dove in the "NOw" painting. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have them sitting on my mantle right now and they are just glowing!!!!! I plan on hanging them in my meditation room. I promise to give them back to you if you need them. I feel honored to have them in my house!

I'm sitting here with goose bumps and tears in my eyes. Thank you. It's beautiful, and so is the poem. It's obvious that you relate!

Dear Cory,
I just want to share that I appreciate and enjoy my wish #27 every day! I have it in my living room and when from time to time it catches my eye wish #27 reminds me of unity. When I first read about your Nine Wishes project what I found to be inspiring was its visual journey and I wanted very much for my wish to be a part of this amazing celebration in community.
While each and every wish signifies a deep personal meaning combined Nine Wishes also encompasses the touch and goodwill of all who participate; reflective of the creative and unique ways individuals have joined together; a reminder that we are a global family, "We Are One!"
Blessings in light and love,

Dear Cory,
I want to tell you how much I cherish the wish that you painted for me. You are truly a woman of vision and grace. I see it every day when I come home. It sits between picture of two of my cousins, one still with me, and one who is gone. It is something that will always be treasured!

My wish (#36) is amazing! You have captured my pain, shown it to me in a mirror, and then helped me to set it free... I thank you thank you thank you!

I got up early this morning and checked my email and was amazed when I saw an email from you! What a lovely start to the day... The painting is beautiful, and the accompanying poem is amazing. I cried. It really is an amazing thing that you're doing. I really can't find the words to tell you how much I appreciate it...how beautiful it is...how much it means to me...
All I can say is thank you.
I hope that one day I can see the painting "face to face". Its amazing....

It was so wonderful to hear from you again. And the opportunity to have my own WISH??? How amazing! Your awesome intuitive abilities, and seeing my wish on display to the entire world, made it possible for me to move forward and to forgive myself. It was a long time coming, thats for sure, but your gift was the catalyst for me...
I am doing wonderfully.
In all of your future endeavours, I wish you nothing but peace, perfection, and love.

Just to let you know that the painting arrived this morning at 8.30am. Made my day, it is amazing. I can't stop staring at it. :) It means so much to me. I simply can't believe it is here!! Thank you so much! When I find the perfect place for it, I would love to send you a photo of the painting and me, and where it will sit, pride of place. Till then, my thanks can't be expressed enough. You've changed my life Cory, by helping me be able to forgive myself, and also by altering my world view...now I realise how much we need to lean on each other, and how someone far across the globe can make such a huge difference in my life.
Brightest Blessings to you and your family,
Claire, Australia

Thank you so very much for taking the time to paint my wish!!! I feel touched and honored that you would make an effort to really reflect and see my wish for what it was. Words cannot describe the piece's beauty; in fact, it brought tears to my eyes.
What a project that was to complete, and what a sense of accomplishment you must feel! It is truly amazing...
I just wanted to write you back and tell you that I am, in fact, interested in owning my painting---truly extraordinary...! Thank you so much, again, for painting my Wish. I am interested to see the finished coffee table book, as well. Let me know when you've completed it!

I have sitting next to me a print out of your beautiful painting and poem. This is such a lovely gift, and reminds me/us that everything is related, and everything has a ripple effect.
I would love for it to be in the PXP offices to remind us of the inter-connectedness of all of us. (… and I will send a personal donation to help you stay part of this circle of creativity.)

Oh it is so beautiful and meaningful I can't thank you enough. I am sending it on to our staff and will get back with you in where to send it. We will all want it.
Ann Smith, Global Network Liaison, PeaceXPeace

I absolutely love the painting!! It is surreal and magical. You are a very good artist!! I will give the painting a good home and you are welcomed to show it when you want to. I am going to mail you a small donation; wish I had more to give. I have been telling people about the site and your wonderful interpretations. You are adding to the beauty and spritulity of the world! Sending you best wishes and a smile. Hugs and peace,
Barbara, Minnesota

(Referring to Wish #32)The spirals really struck a chord with me. My son has long (since he was about 2) drawn spirals on everything. It seems that that is how he views energy. The water look also struck me as I am a Cancerian - a water sign. It is gorgeous and I would love to have it.

How rare it is when two people make this kind of connection through words and art--and all electronically! I am at a loss for words to explain the inspiration and momentum that is being born from your "nine wishes" project--my own painted wish, in particular.
When the time is right, I want to share your words and painting with my daughter. You have become a part of her story, too, in a mysterious and life-giving way. She will be as honored and touched as I am by the power of your vision. Without a doubt, it is a "goosebumps on the arms" experience!
I feel like you knew something about me...How odd is that? Yes, your painting resonates with me, without a doubt. I would be honored to accept it from you as I reflect on my next and newest creative direction. 'Thank you' doesn't begin to say what I feel, but I hope my words move you the way yours moved me.

Greetings, Cory. . .
*Sigh*...You did it...You completed the Nine Wishes Project...I want to say, "Hip, hip, hooray!"...but I also feel selfishly sad that it has come to fruition, an end, because I can't marvel at each new 'wish' that you breathe energy into on an ongoing basis anymore. (How selfish is that?) It's all so awe-inspiring, really. And, yes, I would love to have my painted wish (#29) to display in my creative space for desperately-needed inspiration.
I so look forward to watching more 'magic' unfold for you, from you, by you. From day one, your web site has been a marvel to behold...Keep going, Cory--we need you! My thanks and my best,
Ann, California

"I am touched and opened by your generous gift. Thank you for hearing my wish! It feels so powerful to be heard and then to see a painting of it really anchors the feelings of that vision. What sweet joy and happiness you bring into the world. Namaste."
